2020 BANGKOK MOTOR SHOW OPENED WITH A HUGE ARRAY OF VEHICLES AFTER 4 MONTHS OF SUSPENSION DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

While the Vietnam Motor Show 2020 will likely be canceled, Bangkok Motor Show 2020 officially took place after 4 months of postponement.

After over 4 months of postponement due to Covid-19, the biggest automobile exhibition in Southeast Asia – Bangkok Motor Show 2020 has officially taken place, which excites domestic car enthusiasts. While the policies of the Covid-19 pandemic prevented the 2020 Bangkok Motor Show from welcoming media in the ASEAN region, carmakers all attended in full and delivered stunning lineups.

The 41st Bangkok Motor Show 2020 took place with 38 brands including super-luxury automobile brands and motorbikes. Toyota came to the convention with a powerful car, but most notably is the Toyota Corolla Cross promising to appear in Vietnam soon.

Mitsubishi unveiled the Pajero Sport Elite Edition 2020; Porsche brought its latest electric vehicle, the Turbo S. Taycan; the star of Honda at the largest auto show in Southeast Asia is the CR-V 2020. Subaru participated in the show with its most important factor being the Forester GT Edition. As for Audi, this luxury brand brought the exciting Audi TT RS Coupe 2020. Mini came with Rosewood Edition and Cooper SE.

Located on Mazda’s tallest podium at the Bangkok Motor Show 2020 is the 2020 CX-3. BMW came with a nice roster but the M8 and X3 and X5 are still the focus of attention. Lexus placed the LM300h on its top podium at the 2020 Bangkok Motor Show. Peugeot debuted in 2008.Volvo with the XC60 T8 AWD Polestar Engineered.

An addition to the Show is the appearance of multiple models making their first appearances in Thai.

The first is the Lamborghini supercar stall with Urus SUV that is already familiar with Vietnamese customers; the duo Lamborghini Huracan EVO Coupe and Lamborghini Huracan EVO convertible also appeared. Lamborghini Huracan EVO, which is RWD, is also unveiled in Thailand in the Bangkok Motor Show 2020. Finally, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster, limited to 800 units worldwide, first arrived in Thailand.

The super-luxury Rolls-Royce brought in familiar vehicles including 8th-generation Rolls-Royce Phantom, 2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Rolls-Royce Wraith. Maserati brings mid-range and luxury sedans along with the Levante SUV.

English-made Aston Martin also showcased many beautiful cars such as the DB11 or Vantage, but the highlight is the first large-sized luxury SUV: Aston Martin DBX.

The Bangkok Motor Show 2020 will take place from now until the end of July 26, 2020. While the Vietnam Motor Show 2020 in Vietnam is likely to be canceled, the largest automobile exhibition in Southeast Asia has officially been launched, taking place after 4 months of postponement.
