Vinfast Fadil has reaped the success when its sale results lead the Class A hatchback segment.

Similar to other assembled car models in the market, the sales of VinFast cars also rocketed in the last month of 2020, reaching 4,503 cars. In which, there are 2,472 VinFast Fadil, 1,115 Lux A2.0 and 916 Lux SA2.0 cars. Totally, in 2020, VinFast has sold 29,485 cars, including 18,016 Fadil, 6,013 Lux A2.0 and 5,456 Lux SA2.0.

With such results, VinFast Fadil is officially the best-selling Grade A hatchback in 2020, VinFast Lux A2.0 was consumed more than the Toyota Camry. This is an impressive result for a fledgling automaker.

Apart from 50% discount of registration fees in the second half of 2020 from Decree 70/2020 /ND-CP, promotion programs applied to VinFast cars in 2020 have contributed to this success. Specifically, there are 2 most notable promotions of VinFast taking place in the past year, which is “Registration fee of 0 VND” supporting the remaining 50% of registration fees for 3 car models and “Customer Appreciation”  reducing from 80 to 120 million for duo VinFast Lux.

Moreover, VinFast also offers a discount of 10% to customers who can pay 100% of the price. These all promotions turn the sale price of the VinFast Lux duo into the most reasonable one in the segment. For example, Lux A2.0 and Lux SA2.0 are reduced to the same price as a D-class sedan like Toyota and a mid-size 7-seat SUV, respectively.

Although Decree 70/2020/ND-CP has terminated, VinFast is continuing to extend the “Registration fee of 0 VND” program for 2 models Lux A2.0 and Lux ​​SA2.0 until the end of February 28, 2021. Accordingly, VinFast Lux A2.0 car prices are currently starting from only VND 882 million and the highest is up to VND 1,075 billion, while VinFast Lux SA2.0 prices fluctuate between 1,226 and 1,451 billion VND.
