The arriving Terra 2022 will complete Nissan’s existing product range in Vietnam.

Recently, sales consultants have informed users that Nissan Terra 2022 is about to be brought back to Vietnam, expected to be in August. The new version of this SUV model was also revealed to be imported at the end of last year, but was postponed, likely due to the pandemic.

Nissan Terra 2022 is mid-life upgrade and was launched in Thailand last year. This is also the market exporting the model to our country. Accordingly, the exterior design of the car has quite a lot of changes. At the front is still the typical V-motion grille of the Japanese automaker, but it is designed to be larger. In addition, the chrome spokes inside are also made thinner. The front lighting cluster is also a notable new feature. The dominant design is a “C” shape with more angles, employing LED bulbs for a brightness that is 34% higher than the previous generation, according to information from the manufacturer.

Stepping inside, the interior of Nissan Terra 2022 is also more modern. The dashboard behind the steering wheel is an analog with a 7-inch information screen. There is a 9-inch entertainment screen that supports Apple CarPlay / Android Auto connectivity. When imported to Vietnam, it is likely that the new Terra will still have some notable amenities such as a digital rearview mirror, wireless phone charger, 8-speaker Bose sound system, or HDMI port. However, the 11-inch entertainment screen on the ceiling will probably be ommited.

In terms of performance, Nissan Terra 2022 is expected to still have 2 engine options: gasoline and petroleum as before because it is only a mid-life upgrade. Safety equipment is expected to have a 360-Degree Safety Shield package that includes automatic emergency brake and lane departure warning. Blind spot detection system, rear cross-traffic alert, and 360 degrees camera, may appear in the new edition.
