C-segment CUV models of Mazda, Kia, Hyundai offer 30-40 million VND reduction, especially Honda CR-V discounts by more than 100 million VND.

The automobile market in the first month of 2023 coincides with the period near the Lunar -New Year. Similar to many other segments, the market of group C-segment of CUV is also vibrant with many different discounts. Honda CR-V has the strongest reduction with more than 100 million VND decrease in price thanks to the 100% discount of the dealer’s registration fee program.

Many dealers, in order to accelerate sales, offer customer buying Honda CR-V an additional accessory package worth 50-60 million VND.  The supply of Honda models is abundant in this period, thus dealers can deliver vehicles before Tet.

The duo Kia Sportage and Mazda CX-5, known as rivals of Honda CR-V, in Truong Hai dealer, has the price reduced about 40-50 million VND depending on the version for the near Tet period. Hyundai Tucson also reduce 5-35 million VND up to its version, and the supply for those vehicles is no longer unavailable.

Subaru Forester, after being revalued from October 2022, has no longer the reduction of hundreds of millions VND in price as before. All three versions are being slightly reduce by dealers by 10 million VND, but few cars can be delivered before Tet due to the insufficient supply.

Accumulated to November 2022, The C-segment CUV still maintains its situation. Mazda CX-5 leads with sales of 11,985 units. Honda CR-V ranked second with sales of 8,550 units. Hyundai Tucson is closely behind with 7,714 units sold.
