Recently, Ford has announced the release of Mustang Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition 2022 to honor the 1967 Shelby GT500.

Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition 2022 has Brittany Blue exterior paint, with accents of Wimbledon White stripes designed extending from the front to the rear, running across the side, inspired by the original 1967 GT500. In addition, Ford also offers customers another striped paint color option, Absolute Black. If customers desire the hand-painted stripes, they would have to spend up to 12,140 USD (~ 274 million VND).

In addition to the Heritage Edition, Ford also added Code Orange to the Mustang Shelby GT500. This color is currently being offered to high-performance models such as the F-150 Raptor, GT, and the upcoming Bronco Raptor.

Regarding transmission, Mustang Shelby GT500 2022 owns a 5.2L V8 engine, supercharged, liquid-cooled, producing 760 horsepower, and a maximum torque of 847 Nm. Power is transmitted via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

A new Mustang Coastal version based on the Mustang EcoBoost Premium is also introduced by the American brand. With this version, the car will receive a number of exterior design tweaks, including a black grille, a rear spoiler on the hardtop version, a set of 19-inch multi-spoke wheels, and luminous lettering on the door sills. Furthermore, Mustang Coastal also offers customers a variety of exterior paint options such as Brittany Blue, Cyber ​​Orange, and Rapid Red.

The power of Mustang EcoBoost Premium comes from a 2.3L 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine block. The powertrain produces 310 horsepower and 475 Nm of torque, combined with a 10-speed SelectShift gearbox.

Ford has begun accepting orders for the 2022 Mustang, including Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition and EcoBoost Premium, on November 15. The first cars will be delivered to customers in the spring of 2022.

Ford Mustang GT500 2022 has a starting price of 73,465 USD (~ 1.66 billion VND) and increases to 2,140 USD (~ 48 million VND) with Mustang Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition. Meanwhile, the Mustang EcoBoost Premium 2022 starts at $32,225 (~ VND 729 million) and the Coastal version adds $1,995 (~ VND 45 million).
