The C-sized Territory crossover is open for deposit by Ford dealers and is expected to be sold and delivered in the last months of 2022.

Ford ‘s product range in Vietnam in 2022 is almost completely renewed. In which, Ford Territory, C-sized CUV model competing with Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, or Hyundai Tucson, is likely to appear for the first time.

Many Ford dealers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City announced receipt of deposits for priority Territory delivery. Delivery time is expected to be around the end of the third quarter – beginning of the fourth quarter. The deposit amount is not high at about 20-40 million VND. Customers are refunded if they are not satisfied with the price, design, and equipment of the car when sold in Vietnam.

It is unclear at this time whether Ford Territory, if distributed in Vietnam, will be in what form, but it is likely to be assembled domestically. The sales staff of Ford dealers said that the car did not have a specific price, but the lowest was not less than 800 million VND.

Territory is a joint product between Ford and Chinese company JMC. The vehicle is developed based on JMC’s Yusheng S330 and is currently assembled at the JMC-Ford joint venture factory in Nanchang city, Jiangxi province, China.

Ford Territory is equipped with a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine, with a capacity of 141 horsepower, maximum torque of 225 Nm. In China, the car has an additional fully electric version. In Southeast Asia, Territory is sold in the Philippines and Laos.
