Honda Air Blade 160 scooter launched in Vietnam, 57.2 million VND for the most luxurious version

The new Honda Air Blade is upgraded with a new 4-valve eSP+ engine with versions, 125 and 160cc, providing stronger performance.

On May 20th, Honda Vietnam has officially launched a new version for the popular Air Blade scooter line with some changes and upgrades in both appearance and design.

The highlight in this upgrade is the removal of the 150cc engine and its replacement by a completely new 160cc engine. Specifically, the all-new Honda Air Blade will be equipped with an eSP+ engine, single cylinder, 4-valve, 156.9cc in capacity, liquid-cooled, producing a maximum capacity of 15.2 horsepower at 8,000 rpm. Maximum torque stands at 14.6 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

Meanwhile, the Air Blade 125 version is also upgraded with a new 4-valve eSP + engine, with a capacity of 124.8cc, giving 11.7 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque of 11.3 Nm at 6,500 rpm. According to the manufacturer’s announcement, this new engine line has a fuel consumption of 2.26 liters/100km for the 125cc engine version, and 2.3 liters/100 km for the 160cc version.

In terms of appearance, the new Honda Air Blade 125 and Air Blade 160 continue to inherit the “dynamic and modern sporty design” from their predecessors. Interspersed with which are some small tweaks to bring the overall bike more aggressiveness.

According to announcement, the new Honda Air Blade will be sold in 4 versions, two Special and two Standard versions. In particular,

  • Air Blade 125 Standard has 2 color options: Blue Black, Red Black;
  • Air Blade 125 Special has only one stamp color, Black Gold.
  • Air Blade 160 Standard offers Blue Gray, Red Gray, Black Gray;
  • Air Blade 160 Special has Blue Gray Black color option

In addition to the difference in engine equipment, Air Blade 125 and 160 also differ in the brake system. Accordingly, the Air Blade 125 will be equipped with CBS, while the more advanced Air Blade 160 will use single-channel ABS.

In addition to mentioned differences, both engine versions share common equipment and utilities such as LED lighting system, suspension, digital gauge, USB Type-A charging port, SmartKey, storage compartment, and 23.2-liter under-seat storage space.

In terms of price, the new Honda Air Blade has a starting price of 42.09 million VND and the highest version at 57.19 million VND:
