Honda CB1000R 2023 adds uniqueness, competing with many existing competitors in Vietnam

On the new CB1000R 2023, Honda designers have applied better color schemes, transforming the details on the bike to bring freshness.

Honda CB1000R 2023 version has three new colors in addition to a Black Edition that is black and blue. The model is improved in design but still carries the typical design lines from the standard version. Honda CB1000R Black Edition is added and changed color in some details.

On the 2023 version, paint color on the fuel tank is adorned with a prominent stripe, harmoniously combining the overall color scheme. Its Black Edition is also equipped with a quick-shifter system and a removable rear seat cover that is in the same color as the fuel tank to increase sporty features.

Honda CB1000R 2023 owns a single backbone steel frame and a typical 574.2mm-long single swingarm. The front shock absorber angle of 25 degrees accommodates a seat height of 830 mm and a reasonable weight distribution to help bring the most comfortable and natural riding posture.

Bringing stable control to CB1000R is a suspension system including Showa SFF-BP reverse travel shock absorber (Separate Function Front Fork – Big Piston) in front and a single shock absorber at the rear with adjustable levels depending on the driving conditions. The brake system consists of 2 radially mounted 4-piston calipers.

In the rear is a double-piston brake caliper and dual-channel ABS, providing strong braking force and impressive braking experience for all operating conditions.

Not only attracting all eyes on the street with a new design, this model also always focuses on improving the applicability and ease of control. The 2023 version continues to use the front light cluster equipped with all LED lights with a completely new teardrop design. The taillights are equipped with an Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) to warn other road users to pay attention when the vehicle brakes suddenly.

Powering Honda CB1000R 2023 is a 998cc 4-cylinder DOHC engine block, producing a maximum capacity of 107 kW at 10,500 rpm and maximum torque of 104 Nm at 8,250 rpm. The engine is tuned for a spike in torque between 6,000 and 8,000 rpm. The 2-way support and anti-slip clutch helps the car operate more smoothly in shifting situations.

The new version meets EURO 5 emission standards. Its electronic throttle system applies TBW (Throttle by Wire) technology with 3 default running modes and an optional mode.

In Vietnam market, in addition to the standard version distributed by Honda Vietnam, Honda CB1000R Black Edition also competes with rivals BMW S1000R, Kawasaki Z1000R, and Suzuki GSX S1000R in the 1000cc motorcycle segment.
