Honda CB150X carries the power of CB150R, and the syle of CB500X, priced from 51 – 55.8 million VND.

At the ongoing GIIAS 2021 exhibition in Indonesia, the Japanese automaker has officially launched a new CB150X small Adventure model, aimed at customers who are passionate about backpacking.

According to Honda, the CB150X model is developed based on the CB150R Streetfire naked bike model on the same market, but with a changed shell, design, and some equipment to create a small Adventure with a comfortable sitting position. The new model has better long-distance and light off-road capabilities.

Specifically, CB150X has the same design as the CB500X in the mid-size ADV segment with a large fuel tank, large crankset, auxiliary fender crest and windshield. Interspersed between the auxiliary fenders and the windshield is an LED headlight with a design quite similar to the CB500X.

In addition, the suspension is Showa, but has a long journey with a reverse travel fork in front and a single-cylinder spring shock absorber at the rear. Unfortunately, the bike’s gold set is still 17-inch cast rims and has not been equipped with 19 and 17-inch rims. This shows that the bike is more inclined to go long distances and light off-road.

Some equipment that helps to emphasize the ADV style of the bike include the high handlebar, the single-piece saddle, the lowered footrest close to the engine and the undercarriage that protects the engine.

Powering the bike is a single-cylinder 149cc engine, liquid-cooled, producing 16.5 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and maximum torque of 13.8 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The powertrain is mated to the engine is a 6-speed gearbox.

In terms of price, Honda CB150X in Indonesia has a listed selling price of 32-35 million Rupiah, equivalent to 51-55.8 million dong.
