With 78.5% of the motorcycle market share in quarter I/2022, Honda remains the best-selling brand in Vietnam.

The Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers (VAMM) recently announced Sales of the first quarter of 2022. According to which, a total of 753,571 motorcycles were sold in the first three months of 2022, increased by 7.43% compared with the same period in 2021.

In addition, Honda has also just announced their results of motorcycle sales in March 2022. From the beginning of the year, the Japanese automaker brought to the market 592,188 motorcycles, accounting for 78.5% of the market share. This allows them to continue holding the No. 1 position in the motorcycle market in Vietnam. Vision continues to be Honda’s best-selling model in the first quarter of 2022 with a total of 145,993 units sold, followed by Wave Alpha with sales of 96,053.

2022 is considered a recovery year for the Vietnamese motorcycle market when the demand for two-wheelers is high and the pandemic has been gradually controlled. Users’ demand for post-pandemic spending has also increased. Previously, in 2021, there were nearly 2.5 million motorbikes sold in Vietnam. In which, Honda accounted for 79.9% of the market share.
