At several Honda dealerships, SH Mode’s price increases significantly compared to the listed price; the highest increase is 31 million VND.

Recently, Honda has announced to increase the proposed price of SH Mode models by 1.05 – 1.17 million VND compared to previous month. Specifically, the Standard version of SH Mode increased by 1.05 million VND to 57.69 million VND in price; the Premium version increased by 1.14 million VND, pulling its price up to 62.79 million VND; the Special version is increased by 1.16 million, pulling its price up to 63.99 million; and the Sports version is increased by 1.17 million VND, pulling its price up to 64.49 million VND.

Taking advantage of the increasing purchasing power, dealers also sell SH Mode with a significantly high difference compared to listed price from the company.

However, the actual selling price at some dealers is already higher than suggested changes. The standard version is raised by over 8 million, priced at 65.7 million. The Premium version increases by 14 million VND, priced at 77 million VND. The Special version is sold for 78.5 million VND, equivalent to nearly 15 million VND difference compared to the listed price.

Meanwhile, not only SH Mode, currently the SH 125/160i is also increasing sharply. Specifically, the SH 125 CBS/ABS versions currently have selling prices of 93 and 100 million VND, respectively, equivalent to an increase by 2-3 million VND compared to December 2022 and a difference of VND 17-18 million compared to the listed price.

Particularly, price of the Standard version of Honda SH 160i at dealerships is currently 115 million; price of the Premium version is 126 million VND, price of the Special version is 130 million VND and SH 160 ABS Sports version is priced at 133 million VND, an increase of 3-4 million VND compared to the previous month. Therefore, the difference in price of SH 160i is currently from 23-31 million VND higher than listed price of the company (91.79 – 101.49 million VND).

Explaining the record increase in prices of SH models, dealers pointed out the small number of vehicles in stock as well as the number of customers ordering vehicles is increasing. Some dealers were even out of stock, customers had to accept receiving their order after Tet.

Many predictions state that prices of SH models will continue to increase depending on the region in the week before Tet.
