Honda Vietnam marked the event of its 35 millionth motorbike was shipped with the SH350i scooter model.

Recently, Honda Vietnam (HVN) has announced the production of the 35 millionth two-wheeler unit after 27 years of presence in the Vietnamese market. The 35 millionth motorbike is a SH350i – the most advanced scooter model that HVN distributes in the Vietnamese market.

Thus, the cumulative output of HVN has increased by 5 million vehicles after just over 2 years, although this is a period when the national economy, and the whole world in general, was heavily affected by Covid-19. This shows the attractiveness of the brand in the Vietnamese market. In the last 3 years, Honda has always accounted for about 80% of the motorcycle market share in Vietnam.

The 35 millionth Honda motorcycle to be shipped is a SH350i, a new scooter model that was produced and distributed genuine in Vietnam from 2021. Possessing a trendy sporty design, SH350i also converges Honda’s technological quintessence. Installed is an eSP+ 157cc engine with a maximum capacity of 21.5 kW/7,500 rpm, maximum torque of 31.8 Nm/5,250 rpm. The scooter is also equipped with a full LCD screen that connects to a smartphone. There are also dual channel ABS and HSTC for comprehensive safety. Currently, SH350i is being sold for from 148.99 million VND.

Choosing SH350i to mark the milestone shows that HVN is actively localizing domestic motorcycle models. In fact, the company has also recently distributed genuine Vario 160 – a scooter that was previously brought back from Indonesia by private units. Many recent rumors suggest that the company will soon sell Scoopy, Dream, and others to the market.

Currently, HVN is distributing quite a variety of different motorcycles including cubs, scooters, clutches, and large displacement motorcycles. In which, the lines of large displacement motorcycles and scooters are being focused when continuously introduced new models.
