Honda U-Be electric motorbike is distributed by a private dealer at the price of 29 million VND in Hanoi. The vehicle can reach a maximum speed of 25km/h.
U-Be is a product of a joint venture between Honda and Wuyang motorcycles in the Chinese market. This is one of the strategic products of the Japanese brand, aiming to increase market share in China. Previously, this joint venture had launched the U-Go electric motorcycle line.
U-Be is aimed at young users, looking for a compact, flexible electric vehicle when operating in urban areas. The vehicle’s length, width, and height dimensions are 1,695 x 650 x 1,035mm, respectively. The wheelbase reaches 1,220mm.
The original design of the EV has only one seat. However, U-Be can add many unique accessories. The model imported to Vietnam is fitted with an extra saddle for the rear passenger.
Vehicles equipped with full LED lights, color information screen, SmartKey, USB charging port for handheld devices. In addition, U-Be has a position to wait for a pedal to be used in case the car runs out of power.
The 48V, 24Ah Lithium-ion battery pack placed under the saddle can help the vehicle travel 80km per full charge. According to the announcement from the manufacturer, the charging time is about 2 hours. In addition, in the Chinese market, the EV has 18Ah and 20Ah battery options.
U-Be uses a 350W electric motor and can reach a maximum speed of 25km/h. The car is equipped with front disc brakes. In addition to the standard version, the U-Be in the Chinese market also has the U-Be Cross option, with the ability to move off-road.
