Honda Vietnam hits daily sales of approximately 250 Winner X units

12 Dec 2021

In November, HVN has registered a sale of 7.936 units of Winner X, accounting for 3.7% total sales from the brand.

Honda Vision

According to November business report released by Honda Vietnam, the Japanese brand recorded sales of 201,541 motorbikes in the past month, an increase of 5.3% compared to October.

Contributing to this growth are two of its most prolific and popular models, Honda Vision and Wave Alpha. Specifically, Honda Vision recorded sales of 49,312 vehicles, accounting for 24.5% of HVN’s total motorcycle sales in November.

Next is the low-cost model Honda Wave Alpha with sales of 38,405 units, accounting for 19.1% of Honda Vietnam’s total motorcycle sales in November. This number has helped Honda Wave Alpha become the second best-seller in Vietnam.

Honda Winner X

In addition to the two aforementioned models, another that is also having good business results is the Honda Winner X clutch. According to reports, HVN has sold 7,396 Winner X units in November. This is a slight decrease compared to October, but still maintained a good level of sales.

Until now, the Vietnamese market has consumed a total of 1,205,970 Honda motorcycles in the company’s fiscal year 2022 (from April 2021 to March 2022). Although there have been several months of continuous growth in sales, the number of over 1.2 million motorbikes is still not enough for Honda to achieve year-on-year growth. Compared to the previous fiscal year, the cumulative sales of motorcycles of Honda Vietnam at the present time is still 9.2% lower.

This is unavoidable because in mid-2021, the pandemic complicatedly spread in a number of major cities, causing all business activities to stall. Consumption also fell sharply. After the pandemic was partly controlled, Honda’s business situation has prospered again with many consecutive months of growth.
