06 Sep 2021

Honda PCX 160 2021 is reported to appear in the protection registration announced by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam, preparing for official launch.

Recently, Honda Vietnam has surprised enthusiasts of the Honda SH series in Vietnam after launching the all-new Honda SH 350i with a suggested price that is much cheaper than its predecessor. After which, Honda Vietnam will also soon launch the Honda PCX 160 2021. In addition, the Vietnam Intellectual Property Department also announced registration for protection for 2 products including SH 350i and Honda PCX 160 2021.

It can be seen that the registration of protection for these two new products has also partly revealed that Honda PCX 160 2021 is about to be sold genuine domestically when accompanying the SH 350i in the registration. Previously, the model is already available in the Japanese market at the end of 2020. PCX 160 will have a completely improved frame to reduce weight, increase compactness, and create more optimal comfort for the driver.

Bearing many changes, but the biggest advantage of the scooter is probably the new engine block with a cylinder capacity of 156cc, with 4 valves and liquid-cooled. The newly introduced engine block will reduce vibration, noise, and increase fuel economy. The power generated by this engine block reaches 15.5 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 15 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.

In Thai markets, Honda PCX 160 2021 has been officially sold for about 70 million VND. As expected, PCX 160 will soon officially launch in Vietnam late 2021 at about 90 million VND.
