True to the leaked images, the Hyundai Custo 2021 possesses a design style quite similar to the new generation Tucson and Santa Cruz. The headlights of the Hyundai Custo 2021 have a slender and horizontal design. Below which lies a strip of LED daytime running lights called “Parametric Hidden Lights”, similar to the new Hyundai Tucson as well as the new Santa Cruz.

In addition, Hyundai also equips trapezoidal fog lamps with chrome rims extending down to the central air cavity on the front bumper for the new MPV model. Below the front bumper is a silver fake underbody panel.

Round to the side, we will see the Hyundai Custo 2021 is designed as an SUV instead of an MPV. The reason is that this MPV model has a rather high ground clearance. However, the car still comes with with sliding side doors in accordance with the tradition MPVs. According to Hyundai, the car’s sliding doors widen to 715 mm, making it easier to get in and out.

In the middle of the taillights is a braille stamp “Hyundai” rather than the brand’s logo. In addition, there are horizontal reflectors, convenient electric trunk doors, and silver fake underbody panels under the rear bumper.

Stepping inside the Hyundai Custo 2021, users are greeted with a 6-seater or 7-seater interior space. Similar to the exterior, the interior of the Hyundai Custo 2021 is also designed to be quite similar to the new generation Tucson. This is clearly shown through the design of the flat-bottom steering wheel and the gear shift button of the car.

The touch screen located independently on the dashboard connects to the center console. This touch screen has a size of 10.4 inches and comes with some shortcuts. Add to that a digital dashboard, a 2-piece panoramic sunroof, and a luggage compartment with a volume of 262 liters, enough to hold 6 20-liter suitcases.

The source of power for the Hyundai Custo 2021 is the G4FS 4-cylinder, turbocharged, 1.5-liter gasoline engine produced by the Beijing Hyundai joint venture, producing a maximum capacity of 170 horsepower, respectively. Another version comes with G4NN 4-cylinder, turbocharged, 2.0-liter gasoline engine manufactured by Hyundai Wia Automotive Engine Shandong, producing a maximum capacity of 236 horsepower. The two engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Currently, the price of Hyundai Custo 2021 in the Chinese market has not been announced. However, the car will be exclusively for this billion-people market.
