07 Aug 2022

According to previous information from dealers, the Hyundai Elantra 2023 will be officially launched this August.

Recently, a series of images of the Hyundai Elantra 2023, supposedly for the Vietnamese market, were leaked widely on social networks, which attracted the attention of many users. This model has also started receiving deposits at some dealers from the end of June with the expected price unchanged from the old model. Additionally, sales consultants also revealed that the new Elantra will be officially launched this August.

The 7th generation of Hyundai Elantra was originally launched in Korea in 2020, but it is not until now that it is brought to Vietnam. This will contribute to improving sales of this C-class sedan when updated slower than other competitors such as Kia K3 or Toyota Corolla Altis.

Compared to the older model, the overall size of the Hyundai Elantra 2023 has changed significantly. Specifically, length increased by 56 mm to 4,676 mm; width increased by 25 mm to 1,826 mm, while height decreased by 20 mm to 1,415 mm. The overall design also has a comprehensive makeover, applying the Sensuous Sportiness language.

At the front, the steering wheel impresses with a stylized Cascading Grille, LED front lights clawing deep into the bonnet. Below, the front bumper is angled; the alloy wheels will have a size of 15-17 inches in the regular version. For the N-Line version, the car will own a more aggressive design expressed through the “herringbone” shaped air cavity in the front bumper, along with 18-inch wheels and a dual exhaust system at the rear.

Stepping inside, the interior of Hyundai Elantra 2023 will don a more modern makeover with many new attractive points. First, the steering wheel of the car has a unique design that is quite similar to Audi models. Behind that is a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, similar to the central entertainment screen. Expected amenities include wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, 64-color LED interior trim lights, wireless phone charging, 8 Bose speakers, automatic air-conditioning, push-button ignition, electronic handbrake…

In terms of performance, sales consultants said that Hyundai Elantra 2023 will still have the same 3 engine options, including 1.6L, 2.0L gasoline engines, and a 1.6L turbocharged gasoline engine. In particular, the 1.6L turbocharged engine on the N-Line version will produce a maximum capacity of 201 horsepower and maximum torque of 265 Nm. Depending on version, the car will use a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic, front-wheel drive is standard equipment.

Regarding safety equipment, with the current trend of TC Motor, it is likely that Hyundai Elantra 2023 will also have a SmartSense technology package with attractive features such as front/rear collision warning, lane keeping assist, lane change warning, cross-traffic alert, or intelligent automatic throttle.
