Kymco Candy Hi 50 released, targeting female customers

Candy Hi 50 is a small-sized scooter model suitable for female consumers and students, using a 50-cc engine, rivals SYM Elite 50 on the market.

The design of Candy Hi 50 is inherited from the 110-cc cousin. Features include halogen headlights, a pair of large turn signals integrated on the mask, and pointy the taillights.

Candy Hi 50 is 1,820 mm long, 680 mm wide and 1,100 mm high. It has a relatively light weight of only 94 kg. The 2-wheeler uses a pair of 14-inch multi-spoke cast wheels. Storage box under the saddle is large enough to accommodate 2 full-face helmets along with personal items. The outer fuel tank cap in the front allows for refueling without having to open the saddle.

Kymco’s small scooter model is equipped with a 50cc single-cylinder engine, air-cooled, with a capacity of 3.6 horsepower at 8,500 rpm, maximum torque of 3.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. According to the manufacturer’s announcement, Candy Hi 50 consumes 1.5 liters of gasoline per 100 km.

In this new model, there is a special color scheme that highlights the youthful look. Part of the saddle uses a gentle creamy yellow color. The front is partly pure white combining with the main colors of the scooter. It is also soft and elegant with a curvy signal cluster. Taillights and rear turn signals form a cluster with personality as well as a sense of harmony with the overall vehicle.

Speedometer is eye-catching and easy to see with its large size. The basic parameters are displayed fully and accurately such as speed, total distance, fuel alarm, headlights, turn signals, …. The control buttons are arranged in a classic, logical manner, easy for newcomers to use.

The saddle is comfortable for 2 people to sit. The rear footrest is opened automatically via a push button. Convenient buttons consist of start switch, saddle open, and fuel tank cap release.

The suggested retail price of Kymco Candy Hi 50 is VND 23.1 million. In Vietnam, in addition to Kymco Candy Hi 50, the 50cc scooter segment also has a SYM Elite 50 priced from VND 21.5 to 22 million VND.
