MASERATI GHIBLI TROFEO AND QUATTROPORTE TROFEO UNVEILED WITH FERRARI ENGINE, REACHING 326 KM/H

10 Aug 2020

At over 326 km/h, the brand-new duo Ghibli Trofeo and Quattroporte Trofeo are the 2 fastest sedans of Italy’s “Trident”.

Last month, Maserati had revealed the new hybrid version of their luxury sedan named Ghibli. Up to now, the brand continues to renovate their roster with the Trofeo edition of both the Ghibli and Quattroporte.

The highlights for Maserati Ghibli Trofeo and Quattroporte Trofeo are their V8 engines, dual turbochargers, and a capacity of 3.8 liters from Ferrari. Similar to the Levante Trofeo, the 2 models also bring 580 HP units and a max torque of 730 Nm. This machine combines with ZF automatic 8-level gearbox and RWD. Thanks to which, these models are capable of reaching 326 km/h. Therefore, they become Maserati’s fastest cars to date.

Compared to the Quattroporte Trofeo, Maserati Ghibli Trofeo is lighter and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in only 4.3 seconds. In addition, these two are also equipped with anti-slip differential locks.

In addition to the powerful Ferrari engine, Maserati Quattroporte Trofeo and Ghibli Trofeo also bear red exterior accents as distinctive marks from the regular version. Added to that the head of the car is the newly improved grille and carbon fiber exterior details. At the back is an improved rear light with designs similar to the Maserati Alfieri Concept and the 3200 GT model produced from 1998 to 2002. Then comes the 21-inch alloy on the sides.

Particularly, Maserati Ghibli Trofeo is equipped with a new bonnet with 2 air slots to better dissipate heat from the engine compartment. This bonnet design is inherently similar to the Maserati Levante Trofeo.

The interiors of the couple Maserati Ghibli Trofeo and Quattroporte Trofeo also have some notable changes. Here, we will encounter an upgraded infotainment system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen instead of the 8.4-inch as in the old version. Not only increased the size, this version also has a higher resolution, resulting in sharper images.

Prices for the Maserati Ghibli Trofeo and Quattroporte Trofeo have yet to be announced. At the end of 2019, the luxury sports SUV Maserati Levante Trofeo officially launched in Vietnam with a price of up to 14 billion VND.
