Mercedes-Benz C 300 AMG 2022 about to enter Vietnamese market with advanced equipment

26 Dec 2021

New information on the new C-class Mercedes-Benz begins to emerge.

Recently, a sales consultant of Mercedes-Benz in Vietnam has revealed that the latest generation of C 300 AMG Limited Edition version will be launched in the near future. The new car is equipped with a smart LED system named Digital Light. This is the cutting-edge headlight of the German car brand in recent years.

If the given information is true, Mercedes-Benz C 300 AMG 2022 is the first model in Vietnam to be equipped with a Digital Light headlight system, even surpassing the newly launched S-Class 2022 at the end of November when it was only equipped with Multi-Beam LED headlights.

Digital Light includes 2 HD quality headlights (with a total resolution of over 2 million pixels) controlled by a computer chip. According to the German automaker, a special feature of this system is that it can project images on the road surface ahead. For example, when the vehicle begins to enter the construction area, there will be two light lines equivalent to the width of the vehicle that will shine on the road surface to help users better position themselves in tight spaces and between obstacles. Or, if it detects that a pedestrian appears at a dangerous angle that may result in an accident, the Digital Light will project an arrow directly at that person to warn the driver. In addition, should the vehicle ahead or the one next to it has dangerous signs such as lane departure or reckless overtaking, Digital Light will also project a lane-keeping warning icon to remind the driver to keep a distance.

As for the C-Class 2022, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) has announced that they will begin distributing the new model along with the C 300 AMG Limited Edition. More specifically, the Limited Edition will be imported CBU from Germany instead of domestically assembled.

Other versions of the new generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class are expected to be assembled domestically around the third quarter of next year, according to a sales consultant. In the middle of this year, a number of Mercedes-Benz dealers in the country began accepting deposits for the new generation of the C-Class model.

This model has many similarities with the brand’s S-class models. Their biggest difference is the size. Compared to the old generation, the new generation C-Class has increased by 63.5 mm in length and 10 mm in width. The wheelbase increases by 25.4 mm. As a result, the rear seat space is expanded, the headroom is increased by 15 mm and the legroom is increased by 20 mm. The trunk remains the same volume of 507 liters.

The interior of this model is even more similar to a miniature version of the S-Class with 2 separate screens, including a 12.3-inch screen behind the steering wheel and a vertical 11.9-inch screen integrated with MBUX. For the standard version, the screen behind the steering wheel has a size of 10.5 inches and the central screen is 9.5 inches. Using a new type of giant screen, the C-Class interior minimizes the use of physical buttons.
