Compared to its standard version, the high-end Yamaha MT-10 SP 2022 is upgraded with Ohlins electronic suspension system with modern software and higher performance.

After launching the updated version in 2022 with many improvements for its most powerful large-displacement naked bike – Yamaha MT-10, the brand has just continued to launch a high-end SP version for this model with upgraded gears.

Accordingly, the Yamaha MT-10 SP 2022 will be more advanced than the standard version thanks to the Ohlins semi-active electronic suspension system similar to the R1M model, accompanied by the latest version of control software. According to the announcement, the Ohlins suspension system on the MT-10 SP 2022 has been calibrated to provide better suspension, along with many different feedback settings.

The control and selection of the Ohlins electronic suspension are done via the left switch compound. This information is displayed through the 4.2-inch TFT color screen. There will be a total of 6 settings, including 3 preset modes: A1 (Sports), A2 (Fast Road), and A3 (Touring/Comfort), along with 3 additional modes for users to customize the front fork and rear shock absorber according to the driver’s habits and preferences.

In addition to the performance-enhancing suspension system, Yamaha MT-10 SP 2022 also has a completely new braided brake fluid line, bringing oil to the Brembo brake tube, underbody cover, and completely new oil tank protection.

In terms of technology, available on the bike are:

  • Sliding and supporting clutch
  • Two-way quick-shifter system
  • 6-axis IMU inertia sensor that controls features such as torque control, speed control, etc.

Powering the bike is still an extremely powerful 998cc liquid-cooled CP4 engine block, giving the bike a capacity of 165.9 horsepower at 11,500 rpm and 112 Nm. The intake valve system of the bike has been improved with a larger intake manifold, a filter that combines sound amplifier with the titanium exhaust system, which will give the bike a very exciting audio queue.
