Lexus IS 2021 imported into Vietnamese market will be the latest version that is similar to the one on the international market. Besides, this is also the first time this small-sized premium sedan is imported into our market.

In order to complete the product line of sedans currently being sold, in the near future, Lexus Vietnam will import Lexus IS 2021. This is a small-sized premium sedan, directly competing against Mercedes-Benz C-Class or BMW 3- Series. The official launch schedule has not yet been published by the company, but it is known that Lexus IS 2021 will be sold on the Vietnamese market early next year with 3 versions including 1 Hybrid version.

This will be a reasonable time to launch Lexus IS 2021 because currently, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class has got a big advantage from a 50% discount on registration fees until the end of December due to being assembled domestically.

Lexus IS 2021 imported into Vietnam is the facelift of the latest 3rd generation that was launched internationally a few months ago. The car size is slightly different compared to the old version with 30 mm increase in length and width, 5 mm in height, while the wheelbase remains the same at 2,800 mm. In addition, the design of Lexus IS 2021 is also more attractive than previous products with the characteristic grille with multi-shaped spokes. Front lights also have a sharp design.

Inside the car, the interior design has not changed significantly except for some new details such as circular air-conditioning door with chrome trim, removing glove compartment cover, moving entertainment screen to the left about 76 mm, closer to the driver. It is known that Lexus IS 2021 launched in Vietnam is most likely to be equipped with a 10.3-inch entertainment screen on all 3 versions, but the audio system including 17 high-end Mark Levinson speakers will be available in only 2 versions.

In terms of performance, the standard IS 300 models of Lexus IS 2021 will be equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, similar to the products on the international market, for a maximum capacity of 241 horsepower and a maximum torque of 349 Nm. Meanwhile, the IS 300h (Hybrid) version will be similar to the Thai market, including a 2.5-liter petrol engine combined with an electric motor for a total capacity of 220 hp with maximum torque of 221 Nm.
