Porsche’s best-selling SUV – Macan – redesigned inside and out, upgraded power and added technology, priced from 55,000 USD (~ 1.26 billion VND).

Porsche Macan is the third name on the list of best-selling cars of the German brand. First launched in 2014, the current generation has turned 7 years old, the car was fully upgraded in 2018.

Before launching the all-electric version later this year, Porsche wants to upgrade the Macan once again with very remarkable equipment.

On the outside, the Porsche Macan 2022 has a redesigned grille, a new rear diffuser, PDLS smart LED headlights, and Sport Design mirror covers that become standard equipment on all 3 versions. In particular, the manufacturer offers 7 new wheel designs with sizes from 19 inches to 21 inches for customers to choose from. The car has a total of 14 exterior paint colors.

Regarding the interior, the center console on the Porsche Macan 2022 uses tactile touch surfaces instead of buttons. Operation and comfort functions are adjusted via a 10.9-inch touch screen, which supports Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Larger storage space and shorter gear lever, analog clocks on the dashboard are now standard equipment. The car uses the same GT Sport multifunction steering wheel as on the Porsche 911. Besides, interior options are available with Papaya, Gentian Blue, and Chalk stitching.

In terms of operation, all 3 versions of Porsche Macan, Macan S, and Macan GTS have upgraded power. Unfortunately, the Porsche Macan 2022 will not have a Turbo version.

The standard Porsche Macan 2022 is equipped with a new generation 4-cylinder turbo engine, producing 265 horsepower with the ability to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and a maximum speed of 232 km/h.

The Macan S version uses a 2.9L bi-turbo V6 engine with a capacity of 380 horsepower, an increase of 26 horsepower compared to the previous generation. The car is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km / h in 4.6 seconds with a maximum speed of 259 km/h.

Porsche Macan GTS also uses a 2.9L bi-turbo V6 engine but has a capacity of 440 horsepower, 60 horsepower stronger than the previous GTS version. With Sport Chrono equipment, the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, before reaching a maximum speed of 272 km/h.

All 3 versions come with a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission along with a PTM all-wheel-drive system.

Porsche claims that the suspension and chassis of the new Macan have been fine-tuned to provide the best response to the driver. Particularly, the Porsche Macan GTS version is equipped with PASM air suspension, which reduces the ground clearance by 10mm, and at the same time, the stiffness of this system also increases by 10% at the front and 15% at the rear.

Safety equipment on the Porsche Macan 2022 can be mentioned with lane departure warning, standard front/rear parking assist. Optionally add a lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and more.

In the US, Porsche Macan 2022 starts at 55,000 USD (~ 1.26 billion VND) for the standard version, Macan S costs 65,400 USD (~ 1.5 billion VND), the most advanced GTS version costs 80,000 USD (~ 1.84 billion VND).
