Suzuki’s new launch challenges Honda SH350i

Along with power and a series of outstanding equipment, Burgman M2 certainly stands as a viable option during motorcycle model selection.

Suzuki recently launched a new version of its maxi-scooter Burgman 400 M2 in Thailand with a number of upgrades to meet higher emission standards.

The first upgrade is the new Traction Control System (TCS) that were unavilable in the previous version. This system helps prevent freewheel rotation, creating a balance between the front and rear wheels, thus ensuring the safety of the operator in slippery roads due to rain, sand, or gravel. Along with ABS, the TCS will enhance safety for the occupants, especially when traveling at high speed.

Despite still using a 400cc single-cylinder engine block, the Burgman 400 M2 has been upgraded to meet new emission standards. At the same time, the engine has also been improved to help increase the power of the engine in the low to medium rpm range, which is more beneficial when accelerating. The optimization at the cylinder head as well as the ignition timing helps to increase fuel combustion efficiency, thereby saving more gasoline.

In addition, the bike is also equipped with a new ABS, with increased efficiency while reducing weight. Burgman 400 M2 also comes with Suzuki’s Easy Start System, a 42-liter storage compartment, and a charging port for smartphones. The saddle is customizable to help ensure greater comfort for the occupants.

Burgman 400 M2 is sold in Thailand for 239,000 Thai baht – equivalent to 163.3 million VND.
