Toyota is the most valuable car brand in the world 2022

In this year’s top 100 global brands, Toyota maintains its leading position in the automotive industry.

In the list of 100 most valuable global brands in 2022, announced by Interbrand, there are 15 car brands. Overall, Toyota only ranks 6th, but is the highest position in the industry. Compared to the 2021 rankings, the Japanese company has taken a step forward with a brand value of $ 59.757 billion, up by 10%.

Right behind Toyota is still Mercedes. The German luxury car company has remained in 8th place since last year, with a 10% increase. Currently, their brand value is $56.103 billion.

The auto industry’s own list continues with Tesla at position 3. The US electric car company has grown by 32% in brand value after a year, also the largest and fastest increase in the industry as a whole. The value of the Tesla brand this year is $48.002 billion.

BMW is next and falls one ranking in the list, now in 13th place, with a brand value of $46.331 billion, up by 11%. Then there are Honda (22.873 billion USD), Hyundai (17.314 billion USD), Audi (14.976 billion USD), Volkswagen (14.819 billion USD) and Ford (14.431 billion USD).

The remaining brands of the auto industry in this year’s Interbrand top 100 include Porsche, Nissan, Ferrari, Kia, Land Rover and Mini. Of these, second only to Tesla in terms of growth is Ferrari. The Italian supercar company has increased its brand value by 31% and is now at $9.365 billion.

Looking outside the auto industry, the leading brand this year is still Apple, with a brand value of $ 482.215 billion, up by 18%. The next two positions belong to Microsoft and Amazon, respectively.
