Total sales of Korean cars in Vietnam are 4x the total consumption of same product in 5 countries: Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore combined.
In Southeast Asia, the importance of the Vietnamese market for Hyundai and Kia is reflected through the outstanding sales. Only in Vietnam do the two Korean brands appear in the top 3 best-selling brands.
Vietnam

In 2021, Hyundai and Kia respectively ranked second and third in the list of top 10 best-selling brands in Vietnam with sales of 70,518 and 45,592 vehicles, respectively. This accounts for a total of 116,110 vehicles. As such, the number of Hyundai and Kia cars sold in Vietnam is higher than in any other market of Southeast Asia. Thailand
