Yamaha Exciter 135 in the Malaysian market is known as Yamaha 135LC. The model has just got a 2021 version with a new color and the price is only 39 million VND.
The Yamaha Exciter 135 is currently discontinued and is no longer sold in the Vietnamese market, but this is not the case for Malaysian markets. Here, the Exciter 135 is called Yamaha 135 LC, the motorcycle has just been updated to version 2021 with new and more impressive colors.
Specifically, the Yamaha 135LC 2021 will have 4 colors including Blue-White, Black-Blue, Yellow-Gray and Red-Black. In addition to the new color option, the Yamaha 135 LC 2021 has no other changes, the body design, engine equipment and suspension are the same as the old version.
Powering the motorbike is a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine block with 134 cc capacity, producing 12 HP at 8,500 RPM and a maximum torque of 11.8 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
Although it is the 2021 version, the motorcycle has not been equipped with the FI electronic fuel injection system and still uses a traditional mechanical carburetor. Even so, the motorbike’s start system is fully equipped with electric starter and pedals. The Yamaha 135LC version sold in Malaysia is not a hand-clutch motorbike, but an automatic clutch that comes with a 4-speed gearbox.
The suspension system of the Yamaha 135LC 2021 includes a pair of telescopic forks at the front and single rear shock, accompanied by a set of 17-inch cast rims and 70/90 tire at the front and 80/90 tire at the back. The standard brakes on the motorcycle are hydraulic disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear.
According to information released by Yamaha, the 135LC 2021 model still weighs 105kg, a 4-liter fuel tank and a seat height of 775 mm. The motorbike lighting system is still the traditional halogen light, only the brake lights use LED bulbs.
In Malaysia, the price of Yamaha 135LC 2021 was announced at 6,868 Ringgit, equivalent to about 39 million VND.
