Beside Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion, the 7-seat Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace SUV is also offering promotion up to 120 million dong in September 2020.

During the annual low-revenue month, the Vietnamese auto market is somewhat bleak. However, the promotion programs stimulating demand from manufacturers and genuine dealers are somewhat blooming than in previous years. Even since the beginning of the seventh lunar month until now, the race of sales has continuously escalated with discounts from a few  millions to more than 100 million dong, making users dizzy and Volkswagen Vietnam recently continue to create more choices for customers to consider by launching promotions for their two best-selling models, the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace and the Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion.

In which, the most notable is the Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion D-class sedan with incentives to support 100% of the registration fee, equivalent to VND177.6 million, deducting directly from the car price, but only applicable to the High version. After the reduction, the selling price of Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion High in September 2020 is only 1,302 billion dong, cheaper than Honda Accord (1,319 billion dong) and has reduce the price gap with the best-selling product in the the segment, which is Toyota Camry (highest 1,235 billion VND).

Completly imported from Germany, Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion has the highest list price in the High version, up to 1.48 billion VND. This price is the same with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, making this model somewhat difficult to compete with competitors in the same segment, especially in 2020 when the Mazda6 is upgraded to a new version and also with additional incentives to reduce 50% of registration fee under Decree 70/2020 / ND-CP thanks to being assembled domestically. A deep promotion like this will help Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion even more competitive in September.

While the Volkswagen Passat BlueMotion received incentives up to 177 million VND, the 7-seat mid-size SUV of the German car company, the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace was offered a “lighter” promotion, the highest was only up to 120 million VND. Specifically, the Luxury version of Volkswagen Tigaun Allspace, with the list price of 1,799 billion VND, will be supported with registration fees up to 120 million VND in the seventh lunar month, bringing the preferential post-sale price down to 1,679 billion VND. In addition, the Luxury S version of the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace has the list price of VND 1,869 billion and will receive one-year of Physical Damage Coverage worth 30 million VND.
