This is the second time that Ford Ranger is upgraded in 2020, but there will be further highlights as this is a facelift version that is sold with Thailand at the same time.

Recently, various dealers have started sending information about the new version of Ford Ranger to users, which is the facelift upgrade version that has just been launched in Thailand market and according to consultant’s share, the car will be brought back to Vietnam immediately by the end of this year, likely to be this November. This is the second time that Ford Ranger has been upgraded in 2020, this model previously only had a few changes in equipment.

In its mid-life upgrade, the car’s design has slightly changed, focusing on mainly on the front. Specifically, the front of Ford Ranger 2020 is still square as before but the calandre is now more massive thanks to a new radiator grille. The new grille is designed with small bars in the middle, and its two air vents are same as the equipment of Ford Ranger Thunder in 05/2020. According to numerous users, this detail is similar to the radiator grille design of Ford Mustang sportscar. Fog light remains the same, while alloy rims are painted in glossy black for more sportiness.

The equipment of Ford Ranger 2020 is currently undisclosed, but according to a salesman, this is the first time that version Wildtrak is equipped with the roller lid same as Thailand’s version. This is a favorite of Ranger owners, but they have to retrofit the units elsewhere. Therefore, the American automobile manufacturer’s upgrade for the model can be considered a thoughtful one.

The car’s interior and engine options will not change from the previous version, Ford Ranger 2020 will still be equipped with 2.2L turbo diesel engine or a 2.0L Bi-Turbo engine with a capacity of 211 HP and maximum torque of 500 Nm with 10-speed automatic transmission.

The equipment although unveiled, according to a salesman, the price of Ford Ranger will not differ much. So, we can predict the safety features of Ford Ranger 2020 to remain unchanged when it is brought back to Vietnam. At the moment, this model is having retail price from 616 million VIND and highest variation goes up to 918 million VND.
