Corolla Cross and Vios are 2 best-sellers of the Vietnamese market in November. This helps Toyota reclaim their top position with 10,000 units sold.
Reports from VAMA shows that the overall domestic market consumed 50,014 cars of all kinds in November. Leading the market was Toyota with 9,978 units sold, followed by Hyundai (6,169), and Kia (6,011 vehicles).
The high-rise urban car Corolla Cross continued to show that it is the right direction for Toyota with sales leading the market in the month, reaching 3,346 units. Second in the industry was Vios with sales of 2,739 vehicles. This is 2.7 times higher than competitors in the same segment at only 1,057 vehicles.
In December, Toyota Vietnam will continue to offer many incentives for customers in order to maintain its leading position in the industry. Models eligible for this month’s incentives include: Wigo, Vios, Fortuner, Innova, Rush, and Corolla Altis.
The highest incentive level is for Corolla Altis, which is a direct 40-million-VND discount in the registration fee. Customers who buy Wigo will receive a discount of 20 million VND, with a 5-year or 150,000 km warranty package, genuine insulation film, and leather seat covers. Vios is reduced by another 20 million VND in registration fee. Innova has a registration fee support package worth 15 million VND. With Rush, the Japanese company applies a registration support of 30 million VND. Fortuner buyers will receive an additional year of genuine insurance (Gold package) worth nearly 20 million VND, applicable to the 2.4 AT 4×2 version, the Legender 2.4 AT 4×2, and the Legender 2.8 AT 4×4.
Fortuner is a mid-sized 7-seater with typical Toyota pragmatism, inspiring other popular high-rise models such as the Corolla Cross, Rush, and Raize. In the latest generation, Fortuner has a speed-variable hydraulic steering system, using a 2.8 engine. This gives a capacity of 201 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Additional safety features will assist the driver with angle sensors, navigation, and cruise control. The car’s entertainment system is upgraded with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 11 JBL speakers…
In the service segment, the company continues to support 15% discount on engine oil and spare parts when customers install the Toyota Vietnam application. With the app, users can update information about promotions and vouchers from the brand. In addition, customers can book an appointment with service agents in advance.
The pandemic support program “Choose Toyota Insurance – Full of Confidence” will continue to last from now until the end of December 31, 2021. Customers are entitled to a 10% discount when purchasing Toyota Insurance (except for Raize).
Currently, car models manufactured and assembled domestically will receive a 50% reduction in registration fees, applicable from December 1st 2021 to May 31st 2022.
