Yamaha EMF sells for 3.578 USD and will be available starting March.

Yamaha has officially introduced the brand-new EMF electric vehicle model, a product developed by Yamaha in collaboration with Gogoro – a company specializing in providing electric vehicle solutions from Taiwan.

The compact design of the EMF is geared towards daily use on the street. The bike has a rather fancy overall design with vertical front and rear lights, slim handlebars… The lighting system on the EMF employs LED technology to save energy as well as adding to the modern aesthetic.

Due to its modest length, the saddle is just enough for the driver to sit. The model is equipped with a basic suspension system, including a telescopic front shock absorber and a double spring rear shock absorber. Its set of 10-inch wheels is similar to the rear wheel of Honda Lead.

The highlight of the Yamaha EMF comes from the 21 kg battery pack that can be quickly replaced when it runs out of power. The engine block is a permanent magnet, liquid-cooled with a capacity of 11 horsepower and maximum torque of 26 Nm.

Safety technology on this motorbike only has front/rear disc brakes combined with CBS connected brakes. Phone connectivity for directions is available, along with Smart Key and NFC feature.

Yamaha stated that EMF will be sold in the Taiwanese market from March, with a starting price of $ 3,578. In Vietnam, electric models are also gradually becoming popular with brands such as VinFast, DatBike, Yadea or Dibao. However, information on whether the model will be available here remains unknown.
