In the 2023 version, Kia EV6 has more standard comfort and safety equipment to better meet the needs of customers.

Kia EV6 is an all-electric SUV that was first introduced last March. A year later, Kia added an upgraded version of this model in the Korean domestic market.

For this update, Kia EV6 is equipped with many additional equipment in support consumer needs the domestic market. Similar to the previous, the car continues to be divided into 2 versions, the Standard Range and the Long Range. Standard Range is then divided into 3 subsequent equipment options: Light, Air, and Earth. Meanwhile, the other version has a GT-Line version.

With the Air version, Kia adds a rear camera as standard equipment. As a result, it will have new standard safety features such as rear collision avoidance system, when driving in reverse or opening the door.

2023 Kia EV6 in the Korean market is also equipped with a front parking distance warning system. Wireless smartphone charging, electronic child lock, automatic toll payment system when passing through BOT station, digital rearview mirror, automatic wipers, and electric socket in the luggage compartment are also new standard equipment of the model.

Meanwhile, high-end versions such as Earth and GT-Line comes with metal pedals, providing a sportier feel. Power supply feature for outdoor equipment is a new option.

The next change of the Kia EV6 2023 is the new Deep Green interior color. In the Earth version, the old black steering wheel has been replaced with a brown shade to increase the feeling of luxury. Meanwhile, the GT-Line version adds standard Nappa leather seats.

Finally, there is soundproof glass in the second row to reduce noise and vibration for passengers. This will be for most equipment versions of Kia EV6 2023, except for Air.

In addition, EV6 2023 still uses the same electric motor and battery. In the Standard Range version, the car is equipped with a powerful electric motor of 170 horsepower and maximum torque of 350 Nm on the rear axle. Combined with a 58-kWh battery pack, it can run for 370 km per full charge.

Meanwhile, the Long Range version with 2WD uses a powerful electric motor of 225 horsepower and maximum torque of 350 Nm. AWD option has an additional electric motor on the front axle, so it has a total capacity of 321 horsepower and maximum torque of 605 Nm.

With a 77.4 kWh battery pack, Kia EV6 2023 Long Range 2WD version can run 475 km when using 19-inch rims and 434 km if using 20-inch rims. Meanwhile, AWD runs 441 km with 19-inch rims and 403 km with 20-inch rims.

Particularly, Kia EV6 GT-Line 2023 has a maximum capacity of up to 584 horsepower, so it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 260 km/h. Thanks to the 77.5 kWh battery pack, the GT-Line version has an operational range of 342 km in normal temperatures and 311 km at low temperatures.

In the Korean market, the model is priced from 48.7 to 59.95 million Won (about 830 million to 1.02 billion VND). With incentives from the Korean government, its price will be reduced by 7 million Won (119 million VND).

As planned, the model will also be launched in Vietnam this year. In Vietnam, Kia EV6 will be a rival of VinFast VF8.
