The 2022 Suzuki GSX-R125 and GSX-S125 motorcycle duo have just been officially launched, meeting high emission standards, and having a starting price of over 73 million VND.

Suzuki has recently officially launched in the Japanese market 2022 Suzuki GSX-R125 and GSX-S125 motorcycle duo. These two models are now updated to meet Reiwa 2 emission standards, equivalent to Euro5. In which, GSX-R125 has a list price of 453,200 JPY (79.1 million VND), and GSX-S125 at 420,200 JPY (73.35 million VND).

The new motorcycle duo is not made in Japan but produced at Suzuki’s factory in Indonesia, then imported for the home market of Japan. GSX-R125 has 3 optional colors including: Blue, Red, and Black. GSX-S125 is only available in Sky Blue and Black color options.

Regarding engines, both carry a single cylinder engine, 124cc capacity, liquid-cooled. This engine block allows the car to reach a maximum output of 15 horsepower and maximum torque of 11 Nm, accompanied by a 6-speed gearbox. Except for the cleaner engine with high emission standards, other mechanical components remain unchanged.

Compared to rivals like KTM 125 Duke and RC 125, Suzuki’s two new models are a bit more powerful. But it is worth mentioning, that the GSX-R125 and GSX-S125 are both 23 kg and 24 kg lighter, respectively, than the KTM RC125. Therefore, the power to weight ratio of the new motorcycle from Suzuki is better.
