2023 Honda CBR150R has just been updated with a new color and was launched in Southeast Asia with a starting price of slightly more than 67 million VND by several hundred thousand VND.

The 2023 Honda CBR150R small sports motorcycle series has been launched in Malaysia with an updated new color option. Priced at RM 13,299 (approximately VND 67.2 million), the new color available for the CBR150R is Pearl Night Blue, joining the existing color options of Sky Blue, Metallic Gray, and Candy Red.

Aside from the new color, the 2023 Honda CBR150R retains its core features. It is powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 150cc engine, delivering a maximum power of 16.09 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 13.7 Nm at 7,000 rpm.

The power from the engine is transmitted to the wheels through a 6-speed gearbox with anti-slip technology, along with a set of sprockets. The fuel tank capacity of the 2023 Honda CBR150R is 12 liters, and the bike has a weight of 139 kg with a seat height of 788 mm.

Standard equipment on the motorcycle includes a dual-channel ABS system, hydraulic single disc brakes for both front and rear wheels, a telescopic fork suspension at the front, and a pre-loaded monoshock at the rear. The lighting system features LED lights, and the instrument cluster is a monolithic LCD display showing essential parameters.

The 2023 Honda CBR150R is a small motorcycle line known for its sporty appeal. It offers various advantages, including a flexible and fuel-efficient engine, responsive handling with good cornering capabilities, a stylish design, and modern features such as ABS, LED lights, and an LCD clock. The model is also praised for its overall quality and reliable performance.

However, there are some drawbacks to consider. The price of the motorcycle is relatively high compared to competitors in the same segment. It is not an ideal choice for off-road riding, and the tires may be prone to slipping in wet weather conditions. Additionally, some features commonly found in rival motorcycles, such as a traction control system and quick gearshift, are not included in the CBR150R.
