Clutch model 2023 Yamaha Y15ZR SE, also known as Exciter 150, has just been updated to a new version with new colors, with a starting price of only 49 million VND.

In the updated 2023 version for the Malaysian market, the Yamaha Y15ZR SE receives a fresh twist with a new color scheme and additional accessories. The starting retail price for this new edition is set at RM 9,498 (approximately VND 49.12 million), excluding road tax, insurance, and registration fees. The Y15ZR SE now boasts a striking blue color along with updated graphics.

What sets the Y15ZR SE apart from the Standard version are the added accessories. The front panel and windbreaks, located on both the front and rear bumpers, contribute to its distinctive appearance. Notably, the wheel rims are adorned in yellow, creating a captivating contrast with the jet-black hue of the fenders, elevating the clutch’s overall aesthetics.

Beyond visual updates, the Y15ZR SE retains its mechanical attributes. Its SOHC engine system, featuring a single cylinder with a 149.7cc capacity, remains unchanged. The liquid-cooled engine generates a maximum output of 15.4 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 13.8 Nm at 7,000 rpm. A 6-speed wet multi-layer gearbox and a sprocket system efficiently transmit power to the wheels.

The suspension system remains consistent, incorporating a telescopic fork at the front wheel and a preloaded custom monoshock at the rear. Hydraulic single disc brakes are present both at the front and rear, while the 17-inch wheel design is coupled with 90/80 rubber tires at the front and 120/70 at the rear.

With a seat height of 780 mm and a weight of only 117 kg, the Y15ZR SE offers a manageable and lightweight riding experience. The fuel tank holds a capacity of 4.2 liters. It’s worth noting that this particular clutch model is also recognized as the Exciter 150 in Vietnam. However, in the Vietnamese market, the Exciter 150 is no longer receiving updates with new versions.
