2023 Yamaha R1 GYTR Pro 25th Anniversary Limited Edition has an estimated price of more than 4 billion VND, with many advanced equipment of the world’s first class.

Yamaha is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Yamaha R1 supercar, which has been a dominant force in the large displacement motorcycle segment. To mark this milestone, Yamaha has launched the 2023 Yamaha R1 GYTR Pro 25th Anniversary Limited Edition for the European market. This special edition is produced with extremely high exclusivity, with only 25 units available. The bike is equipped with performance components from Yamaha’s racing technology, the GYTR.

The 2023 Yamaha R1 GYTR was developed by Yamaha Motor Europe Research and Development (YMRE), the same team behind the super racing cars that compete in the WSBK world racing championship. The Yamaha R1 bike, piloted by Toprak Razgatioglu, won the WSBK in 2021. This makes the R1 GYTR Pro a more race-ready machine, suitable for users who wish to experience the thrill of WSBK racing.

The R1 GYTR Pro comes with performance equipment used in the WSBK’s R1, including axle arms that optimize the tilt angle. The bike features a lightweight carbon fiber rear subframe, accommodating a low center of gravity fuel tank, and a Magneti Marelli ECU racing electronic control unit.

The suspension of the R1 GYTR Pro includes an Ohlins FGR front fork and TTX single rear shock absorber, providing enhanced handling and suspension performance similar to that of Yamaha’s professional racers. The carbon fiber bodywork not only adds to the bike’s lightweight design but also enhances its aerodynamic performance.

The vehicle’s GPES electronic system is a high-tech engine control form developed by YMRE for WorldSBK and FIM Endurance World Championship. This technology includes features such as anti-rolling, launch control, engine brake management, fuel pump customization, and traction control, forming the basis for engine mapping.

As of now, the exact market launch date for the 2023 Yamaha R1 GYTR Pro 25th Anniversary Limited Edition has not been announced. It is expected to be available between January and May 2024, with an estimated price of 159,000 Euro (equivalent to more than 4.17 billion VND). This limited-edition bike is a collector’s item for enthusiasts and fans of the iconic Yamaha R1 superbike.
