From August 2023, THACO AUTO has launched attractive prices for large displacement vehicles under the BMW Motorrad brand, especially with the BMW R 18 roster that currently attracts many touring enthusiasts.

Since their debut, the BMW R 18 models have left a strong impression on the Vietnamese market, captivating enthusiasts with their distinct design, modern features, and exhilarating riding experience.

Key design elements like the teardrop-shaped fuel tank, exposed shafts, twin tubular steel frames enveloping the engine block, and the classic round headlight and speedometer collectively craft a stylish and timeless appearance for the R 18 series. While the BMW R 18 Base and BMW R 18 Classic exude the pure essence of cruisers with their clean and straightforward aesthetics, the touring-oriented BMW R 18 Bagger and BMW R 18 Transcontinental possess an extra dose of power. The BMW R 18 lineup encompasses four distinct models with prices starting from as low as VND 886 million, namely the BMW R 18 Base, BMW R 18 Classic, BMW R 18 Bagger, and BMW R 18 Transcontinental.

All four variants come equipped with advanced technologies, notably cruise control, automatic stability control, ABS, dynamic traction control, slip control clutch, adaptive engine brake control, and emergency brake assist. Furthermore, the trio of riding modes – Rain (for wet roads), Roll (for regular roads), and Rock (for varied terrains) – bestow the BMW R 18 with adaptability across diverse weather and road conditions.

Unified by a shared Big boxer engine, the R 18 models boast a formidable 1,802 cc capacity, generating 91 horsepower at 4,750 rpm and a torque of 158 Nm at 3,000 rpm. Notably, the engine’s torque output consistently exceeds 150 Nm within the range of 2,000-4,000 rpm.
