From the beginning of the year to October 15, the whole country imported more than 120,000 cars, with a total turnover of 2.78 billion USD. This volume of has surpassed the results of the whole of 2020.

On October 20, according to the General Department of Customs, preliminary statistics from October 1 to October 15 showed that the whole country imported 6,768 CBU cars of all kinds, with a total turnover of 166.46 million USD.

Out of 6,768 imported CBU cars, there are 5,629 cars with 9 seats or less, reaching a turnover of USD 120.55 million (accumulated from the beginning of the year is 98,345 units with a turnover of USD 1.88 billion); 30 cars with 9 seats (accumulated from the beginning of the year is 137 units); 626 transport cars.

Accumulated from the beginning of the year to October 15, the whole country imported 121,306 cars, with a total turnover of 2.78 billion USD. This number of imported cars surpassed the results of the whole year of 2020 (105,201 units, turnover of 2.35 billion USD).

Updated by the end of September, Indonesia became the market with the largest number of imported cars with 47,783 cars, turnover of 691.37 million USD; Thailand with 44,850 vehicles, turnover of 881.4 million USD; China ranked third with 14,515 vehicles, turnover of 602.66 million USD.
