Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid 2022 is among the best current offroad models thanks to its designs and special equipment.

Yamaha has officially introduced its best enduro model to date, the Tenere 700 World Raid edition. Based on the very successful Tenere 700 model, Yamaha has launched a more advanced version with even better off-road capabilities thanks to a series of upgrades and changes in design.

The first noticeable change of the Tenere 700 World Raid with a fuel tank capacity of up to 23 liters, the highest among midsize ADVs on the market today. Thanks to this equipment, Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid is capable of operating for 499km after each refueling.

In addition, the bike’s fuel tank is specially designed to cover the sides of the main frame, helping to reduce weight and keep the vehicle’s balance well when going off-road. The large fuel tank capacity with the new layout also helps to lower the vehicle’s center of gravity, making the bike more flexible and easier to operate.

According to the announcement, the ergonomics are optimized to help the model better show its full off-road capabilities, while remaining friendly to ordinary users. Seats up to 890mm in height are flat and compatible with the new fuel tank. The saddle is designed with two pieces, allowing users to carry more people or remove it to install a clothes rack.

For technology, the Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid is also upgraded with a more advanced TFT color-screen compared to the monochrome digital display in the standard Tenere. Users can now connect smartphones to their bike, which comes with a USB charging port. Depending on the display mode, the interface on the color screen will be arranged differently to properly serve the users, whether off-road or long-distance travel.

Another highlight on the Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid is 3-mode ABS. Mode 1 activates the ABS at both front and rear; Mode 2 enables that only on the front wheel; Mode 3 will completely disable ABS on both wheels.

The suspension system includes a pair of 43mm KYB front forks with 230mm of travel and a single rear shock absorber. Both of which can be customized properties such as preload, stiffness, or feedback. In which, the rear shock absorber uses springs and the new linkage is optimized for both off-road and long-distance travel.

In addition, Yamaha also equips Ohlins handlebar shock absorbers with 18 different settings. Finally, there is also a windshield and wider footrest to provide comfort.

In terms of price, the Yamaha Tenere 700 World Raid Edition will have a list price of £11,600 in the UK market, equivalent to about 360 million VND. It is expected that Yamaha will start handing over units to customers from May 2022.
