Contrary to previous predictions, the Honda CBR150R 2021 hand clutch motorcycle still uses traditional telescopic fork, which has not been upgraded to a USD (Upside down) reverse cruise fork.

Honda was officially launched 2021 Honda CBR150R in the Thai market. On the contrast to previous information that new version will be upgraded to a USD reverse cruise fork, 2021 Honda CBR150R  in Thailand still uses traditional telescopic fork. This is disappointing and makes hand clutch motorcycle of Honda inferior to its competitor – Yamaha R15.

Accordingly, Honda CBR150R version 2021 in Thailand is only updated with new colors and stripes. The motorcycle will have 4 color options: Black Red, Black Orange, Gray Red and Red Black. Red Gray is considered the most prominent thanks to designing of youthful stripe, combined with different color cast wheels.

In addition to color options, Honda CBR150R 2021 retains the overall design as well as equipment. The motorcycle’s light system is still a modern double headlight cluster with an eye-catching LED navigation light. The handlebar is a sport clip-on that positioned slightly lower to provide a sporty sitting position. The design of high-pitched gas tank with the rear claws also contributes to sport-bike look of the motorcycle.

Powering the motorcycle is a single-cylinder engine block, eSP technology with capacity of 149 cc, liquid-cooler, producing a maximum power of 17hp at 9000 rpm and maximum torque of 14.4Nm at 7000 rpm. Coming with this engine is a PGM-FI electronic fuel injection system and a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Other standard equipment are front telescopic fork and single rear damper, 17-inch 10-spoke cast wheels and front/rear disc brakes.

In Thailand, Honda CBR150R 2021 has the list price of 99.700 Baht, equivalent to 76.3 million VND. In this segment. The competitors of CBR150R 2021 are Yamaha R15 and Suzuki GSX-R150. In Vietnam, Honda CBR150R is not officially distributed but it sold by private import agent.
