Honda NT1100 is developed based on the Africa Twin 1100 model, but carries a stronger and sportier Sport Touring design.

Honda has just posted a short video revealing some of the design of the all-new Touring Honda NT1100, and confirmed that this model will be officially launched on October 21, 2021.

The video above, titled “New Touring Era”, shows an image of a couple going on a journey together on a Honda motorcycle, while also revealing New details on Honda NT1100.

It is not clear which category of Touring the all-new Honda NT1100 belongs to. Currently, Honda is selling the Honda Gold Wing model with pure Touring design and the Africa Twin 1100 model with Adventure Touring style. Thus, it is possible that NT1100 will be a strong and exciting Sport Touring. If that is to be the case, it will compete with the likes of BMW R1250T or Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX.

According to previously posted information, the upcoming NT1100 model is the commercial version of the CB1100X Concept introduced in 2020.

The bike is developed based on the Africa Twin model with a 1,084cc twin-cylinder engine, giving 101 horsepower and 105 Nm of torque. In addition, it is expected that the NT1100 will also have other equipment such as a dashboard consisting of 2 TFT screens and the option of a DCT.

However, if it is a Sport Touring, Honda NT1100 will employ a more road-friendly 17-inch cast rim. Details about the all-new Honda NT1100 model will be announce later when the bike is officially launched in the European market.
