The Honda Transalp 2023 large displacement vehicle is imported in complete units from Japan and sold in Vietnam with a retail price from 309 million VND.
The 2023 Honda Transalp combines classic aesthetics with modern engineering, featuring bold, curved tire lines and a distinctive paint scheme. Available in Black White and Black, the Black and White version pays homage to the XL600V Transalp with its Tricolor trio of colors – white, blue, and red. The Black version exudes a sense of mystery and power, with copper and red accents highlighting the TRANSALP branding.
A newly designed tube steel frame with a diamond structure weighs a mere 18.3 Kg, making it 10% lighter than the CB500X frame. The streamlined body, front cover, and windshield are crafted for optimal aerodynamics at high speeds, ensuring a smooth ride and clear visibility for the rider. The seat height is set at 850mm.
Under the hood, the Transalp boasts a brand-new 755cc 8-valve parallel-twin-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum power of 67 kW at 9,500 rpm and peak torque of 75 Nm at 7,250 rpm. The Transalp also features a two-way assist and anti-slip clutch, reducing clutch lever resistance, facilitating smoother gear shifts, and preventing rear-wheel lock during quick shifts.
The vehicle offers four default riding modes: Sport (SPORT), Standard (STANDARD), Wet Road (RAIN), and Gravel Road (GRAVEL), as well as a custom driving mode (USER) for personalized parameter settings.
Safety is a priority, with the Transalp equipped with a two-channel ABS anti-lock braking system and a traction control system (HSTC). It also features a Showa SFF-CA 43mm front fork with 200mm travel (adjustable spring preload) and a Showa single rear fork with 190mm travel.
The Transalp comes with a 5-inch TFT color screen offering four display modes. The lighting system and turn signals are entirely LED-based. The rear signal light integrates emergency stop warning technology, while the smart auto-off feature for turn signals operates based on the speed difference between the front and rear wheels.
With a capacious 16.9-liter fuel tank and a convenient USB type-C charging port beneath the seat, riders can embark on adventures without worrying about electronic device battery life.
The 2023 Honda Transalp, a high-displacement vehicle imported from Japan, is set to hit the market on September 27, 2023, promising an exciting blend of classic charm and modern performance.
