Husqvarna Norden 901 is developed based on the KTM 890 Adventure but has a longer travel suspension.

After nearly 2 years of being revealed, Husqvarna’s ADV Norden 901 concept has finally come out in real life, ready to compete with a series of rivals such as BMW F850GS, KTM 890 Adventure, or Triumph Tiger 900.

Accordingly, the Husqvarna Norden 2022 model is developed based on the 890 Adventure model from KTM, equipment such as the frame, engine, and suspension on the Norden 901 are inherited from its predecessor, especially the lighting system and design. Specifically, the Husqvarna Norden 901 body has a slightly futuristic style and comes with a classic round headlight face that applies LED technology.

As mentioned above, the bike was developed from the 890 Adventure, so the engine of the bike also has an 889cc twin-cylinder setup, producing 103.6 horsepower and maximum torque of 100 Nm.

The chassis is also a sturdy trellis steel pipe, comes with a WP Apex suspension system, disc brakes with ABS from Bosch. Compared to its brother KTM 890 Adventure, the Husky 901 Norden model has a suspension with a longer shock absorber journey of 20 and 15mm respectively for the front and rear shock absorbers. While the 21-inch spokes at the front and 18-inch at the back remain the same.

According to the announcement, the Husqvarna Norden 901 model will have a built-in electronic driver support system that is a 6-axis IMU sensor to control features such as ABS tilt sensor, front-wheel stall control, force control drag. In addition, Norden 901 is also integrated with cruise monitoring technology, 2-way fast gearshift feature, engine braking force control feature.

All information about the vehicle’s electronic system and operating parameters will be displayed on a 5-inch color screen located behind the windshield. Users can fully connect their smartphone to the vehicle to use the navigation feature.

Currently, the price of Husqvarna has not yet announced the price of the ADV 901 Norden, but the Western media believes that the price of this model will fall between 12,000 – 12,500 pounds, equivalent to 370 – 390 million VND.
