With a selling price of 148 million VND, Hyosung GV300R has no direct competitors in Vietnamese market.

Hyosung has just introduced the GV300R motorcycle model in the Vietnamese market with the price of 148 million VND. The brand’s representative informed that Hyosung is a South Korean brand, and their factory is currently located in China. In Vietnam, the company distributes its products through Rebel Motor, a unit specializing in trading and importing motorbikes.

Established in South Korea in 1978, Hyosung Motors began manufacturing motorcycles for Suzuki in Korea in 1979. It established its own research and development unit in 1986 and has since been making its own motorbikes. In 2003, Hyosung Motors separated from the Hyosung conglomerate. Hyosung Motors currently belongs to KR Motors and operates in more than 60 countries around the world, including North America and Europe.

Hyosung GV300R belongs to the bobber cruiser hybrid cruiser segment with low-slung saddle, wide handlebars and a forward footrest placement. This design style provides an upright, comfortable sitting posture for long rides.

The vehicle is equipped with a 60-degree V-Twin engine, dual cylinder, SOHC, a capacity of 296cc, liquid-cooled engine, producing a power of 29.5 hp and 25.6 Nm of torque. It is belt-driven, resulting in a smooth and less-vibrating experience. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds, with a maximum speed of 128 km/h.

The dimensions are 2,210 x 788 x 1,180 mm (length x width x height), with a wheelbase of 1,475 mm. Other specifications include a seat height of 710 mm, a ground clearance of 155 mm, a weight of 187 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 13 liters. The front wheel is 16 inches in size, and the rear wheel is 15 inches.

Hyosung GV300R owns several premium features such as a Smart Key, LED lighting, upside-down front fork, dual exhaust system and dual channel anti-lock braking system (ABS). Its circular electronic display shows multiple parameters simultaneously. The vehicle has a 2-year warranty.

In Vietnamese market, the Hyosung GV300R has no direct competitors. Honda used to distribute Rebel 300 at the price of 125 million VND but it has been discontinued, while the Rebel 500 model is in a higher segment, priced at 181.3 million VND.
