2022 Kawasaki 650RS has the classic style of the 4-cylinder Kawasaki Z650 series from the 70s. This new model will join the current 650cc series of Kawasaki manufacturers such as Z650 and Ninja 650, forming a very powerful mid-range motorcycle trio.

The bike’s power comes from the twin-cylinder engine used in the Z650 and Ninja. It is a DOHC engine, liquid-cooled, and 8-valve design, for a maximum capacity of 68 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and maximum torque of 64 Nm at 6,700 rpm. The powertrain comes with a 6-speed gearbox and sprocket set.

The equipment on the brake system and suspension system on the Z650RS has not been disclosed by the manufacturer. By looking at images, it may be a double-disc brake system with two-piston compression points like the z650. Similarly, the suspension system is a non-customizable telescopic fork on the front wheel and a custom preloaded single shock absorber on the rear wheel commonly found in mid-range motorcycles.
