W800 is from the classic series with a simple rugged design, engine capacity of 773 cubic centimeters, imported from Japan.

Kawasaki’s distributors in Vietnam have just introduced the nostalgic W800 model of the W-Series that was famous in the 1960s. Earlier, Kawasaki W800 was brought to Vietnam as private import and is only now sold genuinely.

The W800 has its first launch in 2011 and marks the revival of the W-Series of the Japanese company. The Kawasaki W800 2023 brings a classic motorcycle option, accompanied by several modern technologies such as ABS braking, gearshift assist, and anti-skid clutch.

Kawasaki’s model retains almost overall design as same as the first W-Series models. The vehicle has double exhaust pipes placed at both sides in parallel, teardrop fuel tank, comfortable saddle for two people, headlights, round cylinders at both front and rear and spoke-shaped rims (19 inches front wheels, 18 inches rear wheels) instead of molded rims like modern motorcycles nowadays.

Exclusively, the headlights on the W800 use modern materials since they are LED. In addition to the main dark blue tone, many details on the vehicle are shiny-chrome-plated. The instrument cluster at the steering wheel consists of two small round gauges with one of them displaying torque, while the other displaying speed.

The long, wide and high dimensions of the Kawasaki W800 are 2,190 mm, 790 mm, 1,075 mm, respectively. The vehicle has a fuel tank with capacity of 15 liters, saddle height of 790 mm and weight of 226 kg. The compact and simple design of W800 allows user to make varied modifications. Many customized versions have been created from Kawasaki models.

The front fork of the Kawasaki W800 is telescopic type, while the rear counterpart is damping spring type. The front/rear wheels both come with single disc brakes. The vehicle uses a chain drive.

W800 is equipped with a 4-stroke engine with a capacity of 773 cc, twin cylinders, with a capacity of 47 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, maximum torque of 62.9 Nm at 4,800 rpm. The vehicle has 6-speed manual tapered and air-cooled transmission.

Kawasaki W800 prices at 379 million VND and imported from Japan. In this price range and classic design, the market also has other options such as Moto Guzzi V7 priced from 385 million VND (853 cc engine), Triumph Speed Twin priced 359 million VND (900cc engine).
