In 2021, KTM stopped selling the 790 Duke naked bike model in Europe due to the appearance of KTM 890 Duke. However, in 2022, the mid-size naked bike model will return to the continent after some engine adjustments to comply with new regulations in Europe.

Accordingly, the 790 Duke is positioned as a model between the 890 Duke and 390 Duke, and is reduced from 105 hp to 95 hp to meet the requirements of engine power with the A2 driver license in Europe. Therefore, KTM advertises that the 790 Duke model will be a reasonable choice for younger customers.

In addition to adjusting engine power, naked bike KTM 790 Duke 2022 will be nothing different from the previous one. The proof is that the design as well as the standard equipment list remains the same.

The bike is equipped with a trellis-shaped steel pipe frame and an aluminum subframe at the rear. Its appearance inherits the typical design of KTM 1290 Super Duke R. The front headlights retain the same design with beautiful symmetrical pair of eyes and full LED.

Notable equipment on the KTM 790 Duke consists of a pair of WP upside-down forks in front and a single cylindrical shock absorber at the rear, accompanied by a set of 17-inch cast wheels. Braking system includes a 300 mm double disc brake at the front and a single 240 mm disc at the rear, integrated with an ABS. The dashboard is a TFT color screen, LED lighting system, electronic throttle with 4 operating modes: Sport, Street, Rain, and Track.
