KTM Vietnam has just introduced the all-new RC 390 for VND 209 million. The model is in the same segment with Yamaha YZF-R3 (132 million VND) and Kawasaki Ninja 400 (159 million VND).

KTM RC 390 has a significantly higher selling price than competitors in the same segment, but it possesses many technologies commonly found on high-end motorcycles. The first is the ABS system with Supermoto ABS mode, allowing the driver to turn off ABS at the rear wheel.

The second is the 3D IMU sensor, which helps KTM equip the RC 390 with traction control and ABS braking features in corners. Finally, the Quickshift+ fast gearshift system makes an appearance.

Entering a new generation, the KTM RC 390’s appearance is inspired by the racing motorcycles of the Grand Prix. All details from the front end, body and subframe have been redesigned. The windshield and front fascia have been redesigned for better airflow control.

The model’s custom mechanical suspension system comes from WP. Specifically, the WP APEX Upside-down front fork can adjust the compression and return through the knobs on either side of the fork. The WP APEX mono-shock in the rear can also adjust preload and rebound with 5 steps.

Color TFT display with light sensor and KTM My Ride app. Drivers can receive incoming calls and listen to music while on the go.

The electrical system is moved to the rear instead of the front of the fuel tank like the old version, creating more space to upgrade the fuel tank capacity to 13 liters.

The third part with clip-on handlebars can be adjusted high and low with a customization of about 10mm.

The main trellis frame and new subframe help reduce weight by 1.5 kg compared to the old version. At the same time, the wheels are also tweaked to be 3.4 kg lighter.

This motorcycle has dimensions of 2,045 x 799 x 1,137 mm, respectively, a wheelbase of 1,343 mm, a ground clearance of 158 mm, a seat height of 824 mm, and a dry weight of 155 kg.

This motorcycle is equipped with a single cylinder engine, 373 cc capacity, DOHC, liquid-cooled, for a capacity of 44 hp at 9000 rpm and 37 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The air filter is 40% enlarged compared to the old version, providing more air to the engine. 6-speed gearbox is employed.
