The car market has reopened after the Lunar New Year when many automakers and dealers launch incentive programs.

At the beginning of February, Honda announced 100% registration fee incentive program with two best-selling cars City and CR-V. The incentive rate under the program from dealers can be up to hundreds of millions VND, depending on fee registration area.

In addition, sales consultants of some dealers said that these cars also accompany with gifts according to their own policies. For example, for customers in Hanoi, the incentive rate for CR-V is equivalent to 119 million VND, not including the dealer’s own incentive program.

This incentive rate for City is equivalent to 68.5 million VND, applicable to users who pay 100% contract value in February.

Meanwhile, at some Mitsubishi dealers, Xpander AT model is being discounted by about 18-20 million VND. In addition, users also receive many gifts of accessories such as insulation film, fuel vouchers, floor mats depending on the policy of each dealer. Currently, Xpander has 3 versions MT, AT and AT Premium. According to the company’s policy, Xpander purchaser is given fuel vouchers worth from 10-20 million VND.

Triton pickup models are applied a 50% discount program for registration fee, worth from 19 to 28 million VND. In addition, other models of Japanese brands such as Outlander, Pajero Sport and Attrage also apply a 50% discount on registration fees, as well as other gifts depending on each model.

At some Hyundai dealers, the C-size sedan Elantra is applied an incentive rate of about 25 million VND. For the Accent model produced in 2022, the price offered by sales consultants is lower than the listed one of about 40 million VND, but the sales volume is not much. For vehicles produced in 2023, the incentive is equivalent to about 15 million VND.

For Kia models, some models are applied with great incentives during month. Sales consultants said that the incentive for K3 1.6 Turbo is about 45 million VND. Meanwhile, B-SUV Seltos is offered for sale with incentives of about 20 million VND. Sportage applies an incentive equivalent to about 40 million VND depending on the agent.

Vietnam’s automobile market reached record sales in 2022, partly thanks to many series of incentive programs from automakers lasting for months.
