In April, the Honda Big Bike dealer network of large displacement motorcycles began accepting deposits for the new CB500X midsize Adventure Touring model. Up to now, this model has been officially brought to Vietnam and is about to be officially sold on the market.

On the new version, Honda CB500X 2022 has been upgraded in terms of equipment. The first highlight is the front wheel set. Replacing the telescopic fork in the old version is a pair of Showa BFF 41mm reverse forks similar to the current Honda 650 Series. The single rear shock absorber has also been upgraded and refined with 5 levels of settings for users to choose from.

In addition to the upgrade in the suspension system, the Honda CB500X 2022 that has just arrived in Vietnam offers a higher performance brake system with a double disc setup in front, accompanied by Nissin brake cluster. In addition, the colors and stamps of the bike have also been reworked for newness.

In terms of design, Honda CB500X remains unchanged from the previous version. Overall, the bike still has an Adventure style with a tall body, high-mounted headlights with a windshield. The handlebars are wide and raised to help provide a comfortable upright sitting position. The entire vehicle lighting system uses LED technology for better lighting efficiency.

In power, CB500X 2022 still uses a 471-cc single-cylinder DOHC engine block that meets Euro 5 emission standards. This engine block gives the CB500X 47 horsepower at 8,600 rpm. Torque reaches 43 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The powertrain comes with a 6-speed gearbox and electronic fuel injection system.

It is known that the Honda CB500X 2022 to be sold in Vietnam is a product imported completely from Thailand. Despite a major upgrade in equipment, the price of the new CB500X in Thailand will not change compared to the old version. Therefore, it is likely that the domestic price will not be either. Currently, this model is being sold genuine for 188.79 million VND.
